Rationale
Students' Cognitive Engagement Rotgans & Schmidt (2011) which stated that cognitive engagement can be specified as psychological of the student which puts their all efforts to truly understand the material or topic and the student could persist their understanding on the topic in a long period of time. BIPA Indonesia has a program namely Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) that is widely known as a program to learn Indonesian language that is specifically made for foreigners who have interest in learning Indonesian. Descriptive Case Study A descriptive case study is a study that looks at the background of a person or groups of people and uses a descriptive narrative about how they deal with problems. Policies, concepts, and tools related to the problems are explained during a descriptive case study.
